If fall is your favorite time of the year, you are going to love this recipe. Roasted pumpkin seeds with a kick. We have added our Spicy Verde blend to make these pumpkin seeds jump off the pan and into your mouth.
* 1 cup raw pumpkin seeds rinsed
* 1 tablespoon vegan butter substitute. We used Earth Balance
* 1/4 tsp lemon pepper
* 1/4 tsp garlic powder
* 1/8 tsp salt
* heaping 1/4 tsp Olde Virden's Spicy Verde ( Use more if you prefer them spicier )
Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Melt butter and add to bowl. Add lemon pepper, garlic powder, salt, and Spicy Verde. Stir to combine. Add in the pumpkin seeds and toss to coat evenly. Spread the seeds on the baking sheet in a single layer. Roast in oven for about an hour. Longer if needed. Stir the seeds half way through.
Allow to cool before eating.
