It's that time of year when the trucks show up at farmers markets full of delicious summer corn. We thought we would share our favorite way to prepare it. Prepare your grill and grab your bottle of Olde Virden's. You are in for a treat.
Take your corn and pull the husks back. Keep them intact. Remove the corn silk from the cob.
Submerge the husks in water. Let them soak for about 20 minutes.
Spread butter over the corn and sprinkle the corn with Olde Virden's Red Hot Sprinkle.
Pull the husks back over the corn.
Place the ears of corn on the grill over direct heat.
Rotate them after about three minutes. After another three minutes, move them to the side over indirect heat, cover, and let cook for another 15 to 20 minutes.
Take off of grill. Cut the end off the cob to easily peel the husks back.
