Big Bob Gibson's BBQ made white sauce a common household condiment in every refrigerator in Decatur, Alabama. Having been raised on bbq chicken drenched in white sauce, I knew I would have to make a spicier version using Red Hot Sprinkle .
Makes one quart
2 cups Duke's mayonnaise
1 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup apple juice
1 tbl lemon juice
2 tbl fresh grated horseradish
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
3 tsp Olde Virden's Red Hot Sprinkle
1 tsp garlic powder
Place all ingredients in a quart jar. Tighten lid and shake.
We love it on pulled pork, bbq chicken, and chicken wings.
