2 cups self rising flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Olde Virden's Red Hot Sprinkle
2 sticks butter, at room temperature
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar, at room temperature
Preheat oven to 300º.
Sift the flour, salt, and Olde Virden's into a bowl and reserve. With and electric hand mixer, cream together the butter and cheese. Add the flour mixture 1/2 cup at a time until the batter is smooth. Pinch a small amount and roll it in your hand. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press until 1/4" thick.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until slightly browned on bottom of cheese bite. Remove to rack and cool.
